- Arrival and Departure – arrival times are between 12:00pm and 7:00pm, please leave your pitch by 11am on the day of departure. no pitching of tents or caravans between 10pm – 8am. Please ensure you camp between the white markers of your pitch and leave 1.5m each side. - Please respect fellow campers and our neighbors – no loud music and please keep all noise to a low. Quiet time after 10pm all music and vehicle engines must be off between 10.00pm and 8.00am.
- Please keep the site and facilities tidy – use rubbish bins provided. Anyone found damaging or defacing facilities or property will be evicted from site and prosecuted.
- Please ensure to bring a torch with you – as we try to keep lighting to a minimum to preserve the ‘dark sky’.
- Weather – We are exposed to the Atlantic weather here and can experience high winds and heavy rain. Although gazebos awnings and wind breaks are allowed, We may ask you to pack these away in the event of a storm.
- BBQ’s and small fires – we allow disposable BBQ’s and small fires but they must be within a metal container. These must be raised off the grass and strictly at the front of the pitch and not near the hedge/fence. Please ensure these are fully extinguished and put in metal bin provided.
- Please drive slowly on site – max speed 5mph, in wet conditions please drive in a manner to prevent wheel spinning, driving in a dangerous manner will lead to eviction from site. If returning to site between 10.00 pm and 8.00am vehicles will need to be left in carpark.
- Please do not climb on or hang anything from the fences
- Commercial Vehicles – no commercial vehicles without prior notification (these may need to be stored in Car park)
- Guests are to keep to the campsite and car park only – Please do not walk around the farm building or enter the stables. The site is monitored by CCTV.
- Dogs – we welcome well behaved dogs (max 2 per pitch). We have horses wandering the field and pets of our own so please keep dogs on leads at all times and under close supervision. Even if your dog is friendly and well behaved, you might find that some campers are frightened of dogs. Doing this also means you can prevent dogs from getting lost, escaping or chasing wild animals or neighboring pets. Please clean up after your dogs and dispose of in general waste.
- This is a farm campsite please be aware that we have animals on site – there may be some noises and smells, WE ASK YOU KINDLY NOT TO FEED THE HORSES OR PETS. There will sometimes be noises from the farm buildings and car repair garage. Please do not book with us if this is an issue.
- Toilets – Please do not flush sanitary waste or empty chemical toilets in to our on site toilets, we have a SEPTIC TANK and doing so will cause damage/blockage. Please use bins provided and ask to see if chemical disposal is available.
- No fireworks or Chinese lanterns allowed – We ask you to not fly flags please (especially in high winds)
- The flying of drones is prohibited on site.
- Generators – We regret that private generators of any kind are not permitted on site
- Injuries and responsibilities – We will not be held responsible for any personal injury sustained whilst you are camping or using fire pits or BBQ’s. We are not responsible for damage to others property. All vehicles and camping equipment on site are there at your own risk and we won’t be held responsible for any damage to any property on site. Our site is open to the elements and we strongly advise no awnings or wind breaks when very windy.
- Children – are welcomed to our site but they must be supervised, NO BALL GAMES OR BIKE RIDING ON SITE. Please ensure you know where your children are at all times. Vehicles and deliveries are frequent in and out of the farm. THE ROAD IS NOT A PLAY AREA.
- Ground Sheets – Breathable ground sheets are required for tents and awnings, units may be required to be shifted on longer stays to save excessive pitch damage.
- Camping Etiquette – Poor behaviour will result in being evicted from site no refunds will be given We reserve the right to terminate the visit of any person or groups at any time during the stay whose behaviour is unacceptable.
- We ask kindly if our guests could please avoid heading to Mount Pleasant House which is the white house south of the field. That is a private residence who would appreciate privacy at all times.
